I always use linkedin in my job search. As an expat living abroad their home country, one thing I always thought is the language of the job adverts often is a determinant as to whether the company is even willing to consider foreign applicants. As an example, I live in the Netherlands and there are many jobs that come up in my job search but most of them seems in Dutch. As I do not speak Dutch it is one thing that I consider because usually the company with English adverts is more open to hiring internationals. I often think, if it is a simple fix it would be great to have a filter for the language of the advert itself, or the language requirements asked on the advert and possibly both.
I would suggest to have a feature like this - when somebody supports our linkedin post and we see the list, we have a button connect so we can immediately click connect (if they are not our 1st line of connection) and grow our network easier. Now we need to go to that persons profile and click connect and when we're back we lose track where we were at that list. It's difficult to connect with people who support you if you have couple of hundreds likes on your post.
As a job searcher, having the ability to focus searches on company based on size will help fulfill their targets.Example: search for companies needing transformation and size is 5,000+Example: search for companies needing legal counsel with less than 500 employees
I really enjoy the content people share here on LinkedIn—it’s inspiring and full of value. But sometimes it’s hard to sit and read through everything. It would be amazing if LinkedIn added a simple feature to make posts hearable at the press of a button, so we could listen to them. I think this would make the platform even more accessible and engaging for everyone.
Please add an ability to convert any useful instruction or answer provided by any community member to Article.Actually it is one of trending features of modern communities - to collect community knowledgebase by users instructions which can solve a lot of cases then. It would be nice every article has its own direct link to have an ability to provide it to customers. This ability allows to save moderator's time (he/she does not need to create such articles him-/herself). Also users trust other users more than brand representatives. And also it might be used as an additional engagement approach - user's whose posts become articles feels respected and/or might be promoted.
Hello,Company dashboards would be so much easier to interpret if the same properties when used would ALWAYS have the same color.Example: I have created several dashboards that compare different metrics within different target countries. In each of those dashboards, those countries have different colors assigned automatically and I can’t seem to be able to change that. That makes no sense at all.Thanks,- Raphael
It would be great to have the ability for users like me to award badges to other users! I was recently helped on the community and I would love to give a ‘helpful’ badge to another user! I understand you may not want to give users the ability to award badges but I think it could really increase engagement, and who knows, we might come up with some badges you wouldn’t have thought of! ?
Hi Company,While creating new dashboard and new reports, it can be very beneficial to add team notes to explain why I used certain properties, or timeframes. Can you consider adding a team notes feature so I can include basic background information with reports?I created a short illustration to explain what I mean:Team notes in practice!Thanks,-Josephine
